We are excited to announce a date is set for the Jack O’Connor Anniversary Celebrations!

The day will begin with an Open House at the Jack O’Connor Center, in Hells Gate State Park. Visitors will be greeted by the, newly installed, magnificent bronze mule deer sculpture created by world-renowned artist Rick Taylor. The unveiling and dedication of this permanent installation will take place during the day.

The Outdoor Writers Forum will return. In an informal setting, surrounded by Jack and Eleanor’s legendary collection, enjoy the perspectives of well-known writers as they share their thoughts on the current status of hunting, firearms and share their personal stories and answer your questions.  We are pleased to announce two of the featured writers are Larry Weishuhn, award winning writer and Diana Rupp, Editor-in-Chief of Spots Afield Magazine.

Saturday evening enjoy a festive banquet and auction at the Hells Canyon Grand Hotel (formerly the Red Lion). If you are traveling from out of town, and planning to stay at the hotel, please mention you are here for the Jack O’Connor banquet and receive a discount on your stay. See you there!
