JOC Binoculars...?

Did Jack ever write an article on the binoculars he uses while hunting? I believe I remember him mentioning a pair of Bausch & Lomb Zephyr's... Does anyone else remember this or anything else on the optics he used on his hunts? Thanks in advance for your replies. John Bedlion - Leica Sport Optics

Hello Go Hogs,

Thank you so much for posting the letter from JOC to John Jobson about his thoughts on Binoculars. We just returned from Lewiston, and the JOC Museum. In the museum was a pair of 8x30 Bausch and Lomb Zephyr-light binoculars that were Jack's. I also understand that he used a pair of 9x35 B&L Zephyr's for sheep hunting.

Do you know about if JOC ever wrote about spotting scopes of if we ever used one?

Thanks again for your reply!

John
